Architectural Engineering
One of the distinctive features of competencies related to technical disciplines is represented by a dual condition that links the transfer of knowledge – teaching for the profession – with associated research to discovery, first to innovation. The separation between a technical culture as an exercise of practice and the process promoted by scientific speculation represents the focus of the development of the disciplinary sector of Technical Architecture in Italy. This editorial series shows the selected results of the most recent studies produced by the doctoral theses on research topics belonging to the domain of scientific interest in Architectural Engineering.
